WaRz0r
Hey guys and gals, I have just had my rivulatus's lay a batch of eggs :) My male is a very large gold saum and my very small female is a white saum. Is this normal for these different types to interbreed? and to what outcome of the colour of the tail should I expect on the babies? Thanks Craig
kikrman
You'll get a mix of both but the orange on the tail won't be anywhere near as nice and aright as two golds doing the deed.

WaRz0r
Its now been a couple of days and a couple of eggs have gone white (dead) but most of them i can see a little fry inside the egg. Can i now remove the rock from my main community tank into my fry tank ? Is that the best way to save the fry from getting eaten? Should i move the mother as well? or leave her in the main tank? Thanks in advance all

DeadFishFloating
white and gold are different species. Its best not to mix them.

tuffy_rana
correct me if im wrong but do the male whites have a larger head hump when older as compared to the golds and generally somewhat shaped a lil different in the body? on the ones i keep its true. the whites are deeper, a little shorter and get better head growth. i do have a pair of golds where the male has nice nuchal development but
