Joddy92
Hey all i new to fish i got an 3 foot aftican cichlid tank and a 2 foot tank with 2 female and 1 male bristlenose catfish. they are just common, so today i noticed the male in his cave with around i'd say 30 maybe more eggs. I took the 2 females out and put in my cichlids tank. So it's just the male and the eggs and about 8 cherry shrimp. As i said i new with fish wat should i do next to help the egg/fry live?? Shanoz
Nice one, just wait till they loose their egg sack as up until then you don't need to feed them. Once they are all out and about swimming around just get the good old Zucchini and Algae Wafers and all will be happy! Congrat's on your first spawn, it's always exciting! Shanoz
You should be doing regular water changes anyway, just kep them weekly and all should be fine!
