soumimjp
Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if I am able to place an aqua one nautilus 2700 on a 4ft x 15" x 15". I was just wondering if it would flow too hard, I am currently housing chicilids in the tank. Sorry for the rookie question, I just have found it hard to find information on the flow rate and whether it would be appropriate. I understand its quite a lot of excess filtering but I need to use my current external filter which is rated at 2200 lt an hour on another tank and need to seed this one first. The Tech Den
No it should not flow too hard. Head height also comes into it so if it has to pump up to a higher height that will reduce the flow rate. With the spray bar it should reduce it more than enough too. soumimjp
Thankyou Tech Den for the quick reply. It will be housed on the 2nd tier of a three tier rack so that should also reduce the flow also. I was actually thinking of doing a thread based on the filter as it would be good for other members to see what is included. Also I won it at the xmas draw (thanks redlands it was awesome), so I feel obliged to add some information about it. Always like to hear input from experienced fish keepers thats what makes this forum so great.
The Tech Den
Think I have a 2400lph on 3 footer and it is on a tier below the tank and I am happy with the flow so good luck and I am sure you will be happy.
