Brengun Posted March 27, 2012 Report Share Posted March 27, 2012 If you don't actually want a filter with media sponges etc and low watts is good then go for a couple of powerhead 3000L. They are not so strong as to suck shrimp or little whiptails from 4cm or endler guppies in and you put one each end. One pointing up to make high oxygenation along the surface and one down to blow across the fronts of the caves. I am trialling the 5000Lph one in a 4.5ft but it seems to be trapping shrimp and killing them in the grate.
