Lennox Posted February 7, 2012 Report Share Posted February 7, 2012 (edited) egg dummy's. males have more. usually 3 or more. they also usually but not always have a much stronger colouration... depends on quality. pic 1 looks pos. male and the rest probably female. pic 3 looks borderline male but leaning towards female (better pic of anal fin when its healed?).... also females will hold eggs lol. feed them well and time will tell... Supercobwe Posted February 7, 2012 Report Share Posted February 7, 2012 The fin got chewed off that doesn't help but in general look at the top fin and anal fin, male have a pointed fin and female have kind of rounded fin but that not 100% tho, best to vent them. PeachFitz Posted February 8, 2012 Author Report Share Posted February 8, 2012 I'm almost 100% positive the top one is male as he's rearranged the tank to his liking! They haven't bred yet, no. Any yeah the fins are a bit of a shame, the male in the top pic likes to boss the others round a lot... nothing too bad but i could see how they've had a bit taken out of them.
