mines bigger
TAke out 75% of the water, take out all ornaments filters and heaters then catch the fish. Then drain the last of the water and take out the gravel if it is still too heavy to lift.... Hope that helps

TaBeck1990
It's really the end bit that I have difficulty with as all my tanks are to big to pick up. I've resorted to using towels to soak up the last of the water, any easier way?
tubbi
Once your siphon stops sucking up water due to the low level, use a container and scoop out the rest of water into a bucket

Peter
I use the hose to syphon as much as possible then I use abit of foam under one edge of the tank so the remaining water pools to the opposite end - then I use a piece of airline tubing to syphon the rest out followed by an old disused beach towel for the last few drops. DUCKHEAD
Forgot to mention. Don't try use ur power head to start the siphon. I tried it once, shot water onto my light, gave me a reasonable kick and shorted the house lol. Circuit breakers save lives.
