bidkev
Retail price is $24 but you can find 'em cheaper. The cheapest I've seen is $13.90 but I've yet to see 'em without an "out of stock" sign Seachem The Bag

bidkev
Lets drive people away from shops even more! Seph Ya never bought online mate? Ya must be a real nice guy thinking of retailers and not your own pocket. Anything that stays in my pocket goes to my family, and charity begiins at home. Australia has been way too lax on keeping up with online competition and is now reaping the reward..............the Harvey Morons and Sick Smiths of this country (and yourself) need to wake up, stop whinging about online sales, and get with the programme. Redlands Pet Centre
Lets drive people away from shops even more! Thanks for supporting local retailers Seph, but don't give bidkev too hard a time, he is only trying to inform other members of a possible bargain and he does still support shops and he is a well known and valued customer of ours. But don't be too quick to get on to the Amazon offer as we are working on a Seachem Special that will be our cheapest ever. I can't post it yet as all stock hasn't arrived, but I am estimating the "The Bag" will be under $9.00 and therefore even cheaper than sending your money to America. Prime and Purigen are the other main products on special so keep an eye out for our special. Regards Russ
steve6610
got to agree with you russ, i've dealt with kev several times, he is one of the good guys, and i've dealt with seph a couple times also with no hassles, not everybody has the same opinions, and it doesn't make 1 right and 1 wrong, just makes you 2 different people....... now i'm going to be waiting and waiting to see these specials, looks like another day trip down to see you russ,

Sephiroth
I agree 100% Aus does need to wake up, we are in the gutter within the hobby. I do shop online for things i can't get at a shop, sometimes it's the only way. Don't come crying when there's 2 stores in Brisbane left. I'm just having a bad day i like to winge, isnt this what the forums about, starting useless winge threads?.......but on the up-side i did win a money game in pool lol Seph

To be honest, I'd never seen your "The Bag" on your shelf and even if I did, I would buy it for a few bucks more than online prices, just to support you, but the point I'm making is buying online, against Oz's ridiculous retail price of 24 bucks. I know it's a case of 'economies of scale'............the bigger the population, the more you can shift and therefore negotiate bigger discounts. Your last discounts weree amazing ($200 for 8 litres of prime)...........so it shows it can be done............even without 'economies of scale'...................you're ahead of the game which is what I was trying to indicate (that major retailers aren't) with my last post. Then why make a sarcastic comment over my post?..............not that I give a feck. I probably spend more in local stores in a month than you'd spend in a quarter.................but I spend it in the stores that make an effort to compete..............not those who say "buy Australia" just because they're thick enough to think that'll get your business. noiesmo
If I go into a shop any shop and I don't get the service, that one should, or has to wait too checkout, fair price... not ripped a new one!!! Then I am happy to buy online, and thats what the retail shop needs to understand, now, it is about playing fair and service. If we the consumers didn't want it today!! The day I walk into the shop..... Then I would #$%^&* order it online. my two cents worth.......... Edited March 15, 2012 by noiesmo
