richierichhsv
Ive got LED lights attached to the hood of the tank. The LEDs have double sided tape but half the strip is not sticking to the metal hood. Ive tried tape which either comes away instantly or lasts a hour or two. Before i head down to bunnings will blue tack work or what? Richie
woodie03
I'd say the lights will dry out your blue tac. Maybe you could try a better brand of double sided tape? Failing that is there a way you might be able to screw them to the lid?

ash
Or if your in a hurry a contact adhesive like kwikgrip, apply to item and what you wanna stick it to, let it dry till its tacky to the touch and then press into position.
