Ryan220587
Hey mate, I will watch this thread as I too would like to know what is involved. Have a 6 x 1.5 x 1.5 and I am unsure as to whether I will have africans in it, or turn it into a marine setup. Cheers
stuwalters
Personly i think you shoud do some research on marine tanks from either the library or the internet. With marine tanks you need a lot of patience and it can take a long time to set one up properly and also kill everything very very fast, it has to be done properly. I suggest you have a look at http://www.garf.org/index.shtml http://www.masa.asn.au/masa/index.html http://www.reefs.org/ You also need ALOT more money Hope this helps Stu

Ryan220587
Hi Antony, Well at the moment I quite literally just got it home and cleaned it up I am still fairly undecided but might still sway towards another tropical setup, only because a) I don't think the mrs. will appreciate my bad case of MTS and I do know from speaking to people that marine is a lot of time, a lot of work and a LOT of money. None of which are very practical for me at this point in time. Down the track perhaps, but just not at this stage. However if I do change my mind, I will be sure to PM you. Bristlenose_boy93
Mate, just go with a nice freshwater setup. Its all up to you but be prepared, the time and effort and money you have to put into marine is alot. My sister has a 3ft marine sumped and it has costed her over 2K already.
