Pet_City
I know I've been super quiet recently - I usually spam this forum with awesomeness. In the quiet time Pet City - Mt.Gravatt was busy celebrating its 55TH BIRTHDAY. Not many businesses can say that and we are stoked. Wait until the 60th it will be a massive blowout. I was also planning..... MARINE MONTH! Its only a few days away. Here are the details. Marine Month is only a few days away! Pet City – Mt.Gravatt is very excited that Marine Month is nearly upon us. We have lots of specials planned and are also very interested in helping out the beginner marine aquarist. We just can’t wait to show you what we are doing! If you are interested in starting a marine tank – then Marine Month is just for you. We are committed to giving the beginner the best and most practical advice. We know that the idea of a marine aquarium can be intimidating, but Pet City – Mt.Gravatt wants to assure you that we are here to help. Contrary to popular belief marine is not a difficult hobby to start – it only requires a forethought, a little elbow grease and patience! Tuesday March 13th at 6.30pm we are hosting a Beginners Guide to the Marine Aquarium. We will have experts from Aqua One discuss the best methods when setting up your aquarium. Seachem will be discussing the basics of marine chemistry so that you can understand exactly what is happening to your tank. Hikari will be on hand to answer all of your questions about nutrition for your saltwater pets. Aquarium Industries will be here to help you ascertain the best mix of fish compatibility for your size tank and for your current inhabitants. The friendly faces of the Pet City – Mt.Gravatt will also be here to help you every step of the way! The seminar is only $10 for Club Members ($12 for non-club members). Best of all you can use your seminar fee toward any marine product that you purchase on the night – as we are keeping the shop open so that our attendees can privately browse and chat with the experts. Please email kelly@petcity.com.au to sign up. Please include your name, phone number, number of attendees and club membership number if known. We can’t wait to see you there! Pet_City
Until about 8.30 - 9.00. I would be happy to sign you up if you pm me your details. We really are excited about Marine Month. I should mention that we are following up with an Intermediate Seminar in September to make sure we are helping you follow through and increasing your knowledge. At that time conceivably a tank started now would be ready for the next step of more difficult to keep coral types, inverts and fish. So we will have a lecture series based upon all aspects marine keeping.

DeadFishFloating
This is going to be a good night. If you havent seen the pet city marine section before, then seeing it stocked like this will blow your mind! Also a good chance for people who are not sure about starting a marine tank to see just how much work is involved. You might just be very pleasantly surprised! Lot of people there to show you the tricks of the trade, which let you work smarter not harder. In fact the nights speakers are all rather notorious for wanting people to succeed, and better yet, giving the correct advice to ensure they do so. You dont get many chances to pick the brain of these gurus, so not one to miss. I know I will be setting my brain to record.
