Jimbo 1973
Hi all , looking at getting a second hand t5 marine light off a member . Question is he says it has a 28w blue marine bulb in it and it also takes white bulbs as well . I want to put plant grow 54w bulbs in , can this be done ? I'm not sure if upping the watts on the bulbs I'm going to use is possible ? cheers Jamie don't want to buy some bulbs and blow them trying them out or risk starting a fire or anything :-/

Matmatmat
Haha not to stupid to answer! I think it probably got lost as you asked it early in the morn while people a still sleepy The best bet would be to ring age of aquariums and ask them, I know we have an imported t5 light and running too high a wattage bulbs blew the ballast? Well it don't work now anyway? HTH
