Matmatmat
What are they? Most fish can go couple weeks... My record is a American blue eye, was a fry stuck in substrate when we emptied a tank did not see the poor bugger, he lived over 5 weeks before we found him! lived in the dark in less than a cup of water no food nothing!! It's better for the water that they don't eat rather than getting somebody who does not know to probably over feed them and do no maintenance? It's only been a week how long till you think you can get back?
Daharkazangel
I have two oscars with a rtb shark in one tank. Angels with corys and stuff in another tank. A heap of guppy fry with cherry shrimp in another tank. And lastly a fighter by himself. Dont know when I can get back, gympie maryborough and tiaro are all cut, I live in kawana so im only three hours away. Have to see if the weather holds so I can get back. Matmatmat
Yeah sorry just realised why you were stuck Is there somebody you trust that knows fish could do a water change and small feed? I think the oscars can handle the lack of food, but water quality may be different story...Still only been a week so stay positive! Guppys love cherrys so you may just have less shrimp and happy guppies? And hopefully the fighter will just eat some algae? I reckon stay positive and remember that fish are pretty resilient and want to live... Nobody feeds the fish in local polluted creeks and they thrive so chin up and hope for the best! Brengun
Better to be hungry than to have food polluting tanks with no waterchanges. Look on the bright side, boy are they going to be glad to see you when you get home.
