they are just a natural morph found in a lake somewhere in centeral america im pretty sure. definatly not a hybrid, but a great fish!

i find that the marbled fene are more placid than the original form

Alright, anyway, I got my guy a normal fene to breed with, they are fighting a bit but I'm sure they'll get over it.

No no no..... They are a tank bred morph that got line bred.... The 1st was just a 1 off out of a batch from standard fene parents..... I know this 100% because I know the guy who did it I was at his house this morning actually.... So no they are not a hybrid nor a natural morph in a lake....... They were 1st bred right here in brissy by a great bloke :)

im not to sure wether the queesnaldn legislation of importing exotic species of fish applies for the exporting. would be good to find out, but in effect yes, although i have not seen any outside of australia.
