how do i get rid of snails in my tank

hi i have a 3 foot tank with some cheeries and some bn's in the tank and the snails are beating me can i get some medicine to put in the tank, do i remove all fish and shrimps and plants, if somebody could help that would be appreciated thanks in advance :)

If ya not trying to breed the bn just get a couple of clown loaches they will take care of them for ya

Na they will eat them , bought an 8 ft & the sand was full of them Big cone snails none now plus I have fat clown loaches

i could be wrong because i often am lol.....but adding loaches to the tank will clear up the snails....but also the cherries?

Yep i got yo yo loaches killed em all in a couple of weeks.

about the cherries i dont know, not had them together.

Pice of cucumber on a string with a stainless steel screw in it..................pull the string in the morning and the cucumber should be heaving with snails.................it's manual but it works................you won't get all of 'em but it sure cuts their numbers down

Currently doing the clown loach thing... inherited it from family in law and had been fed pellets... so I had to stop food and crack a few snails to encourage him (those buggers are tough!)...Took a while but now he hunts them...

Tried the Bidkev thing and it does cull numbers...but alas they continue to breed..

Now combine the techniques and chuck in some cucumber or zuchini, clear it a couple of times and chuck it back in if he doesn't eat em...numbers dropping...

Also made the rookie mistake.... I don't know why i thought he would eat the snails but leave the bn fry alone...sad face...lesson learned...bn moved home...
