wayne6442
I still have to convince my shrimp that they "WILL" like mulberry leaves. It has been 5 days since I offered this tasty leaf to my obviously very spoilt shrimp. A couple have wandered over it but just kept going. The only contenders have been a couple of snails, and they don't stay long. Anyone any ideas as to why they would not be interested? The leaves are fresh but have been frozen. I steeped them in boiling water for a couple of minutes before putting them in the tank.
Matmatmat
They may just not be hungry enough, if there is an easier or tastier food source they are going to go for that first. Do you feed the shrimp? Other than the leaves?
wayne6442
I feed my shrimp just once a week usuall a piece of groung up alge wafer, since the leaves have been in I have just let them forrage, still must be plenty of pickings in the substrate. New leaf in today, see how they go this time round.
