luckyfish Posted May 2, 2012 Report Share Posted May 2, 2012 Hi all, I recently put a pond in the ground and surrounded it with slate pavers and rocks, I noticed this afternoon the water had gone down by about 2 inches, I'm pretty sure there are no holes as I was very diligent and the soil beneath was all sandy. Could this be evaporation from the black polythene? The pavers are extremely hot to touch too. It gets full sun from about 11am onwards.
