Guest SFJ
Hey mate. Your related to Corey hey? I work with him. Just don't mention the shop name on here. Looks like you got a nice male riv breed them, piss easy to breed and sell quite easily Same with blue acaras. Even sevrums Or if you could get your hands on a real good looking pair of syspillum would a good start. Cheers Sam.
Yodapwnsasmurf
Yeah mate, I'd go Rivs, very nice fish and yeah, as SFJ says, they are easy as anything to start off with!
CrayonBox
i found SGT pretty easy to breed. Mine breed in a ship ornament, makes it such a pain though
Benno22
I agree aswell...From the fish I have bred over the last few years Green Terrors are pretty easy...They are very good parents too.

CrayonBox
sean it might help if you let us know how big the tank is going to be? or do you plan to buy a tank to suit the fish?
Yodapwnsasmurf
Jags aren't hard, but they need space, and a lot of it.
Yodapwnsasmurf
You could probably get away with a small jag pair in one of those tanks, I'd go for it!
CrayonBox
shouldnt have a problem with keeping small jags in one, rivs in the other, and something else in the third since hes got 3 5fts. I'm totally jealous btw

scott95
for attitude and the whole wrap i would go for viejas, go for some of the harder to get varietys, and try to source some 'true' viejas. you could go melanurus, synspillus, zonatum or paratheraps coatzacoalcos just do whatever you want. floppingflamingos
Yeah Viejas are all well and good, most of em are ugly as sin as juveniles though. You will always find the prettier the juvenile the more luck you will have selling especially to a lfs. Texas Cubans Rivulatus Even rainbow cichlids. Gold Severums. < if I were you I would breed these.
CrayonBox
if your going to breed gold severums, try and find fish that have as many orange spots on them as you can find. generally speaking it means they have better blood lines.

MRNOS
If you want sgt's I've got a small pair here
Azedenkae
SGTs are damn nice to have. ) They're very, very, very pretty. Not sure about how hard they're to get down the coast, but up in Brisbane it's not that hard. Bidkev is someone you may want to ask. Then again MRNOS has a pair and he's at the coast so he's probably a better choice.
CrayonBox
They pretty easy to get and they pair pretty easy as well. My 15cm male paired with my 6cm female like a day after i put her in. And they have already started breeding.
