fish_hobbyist
Are they a newly formed pair? both my pairs and my mates pair have all eaten a batch of their fist few spawns.. They had their very 1st successful spawn (babys are still growing out) then their 2nd batch they ate, and now their on their 3rd spawn which have hatched out fine as well.. imo a newly formed pair WILL eat 1 or 2 of their first spawns until they get the hang of it.. otherwise their awesome parents. vickisam01
Dont bother moving them. Fish hobbyist is exactly right. Best bet is to leave them to it, dont keep peering into tank or disturbing it. If you leave them alone they should settle dow and be wonderful parents in a few days. (if not this batch then the next but it wont be long.) Enjoy - these little fish are great fun to watch with their children
