CrayonBox Posted May 15, 2012 Report Share Posted May 15, 2012 Hey guys i had a rosey barb thats been smashed, i got up one morning to find it barely able to get below the water and having some serious trouble. So i moved it to another tank and it was able to stay under the water now but when it swims it does spirals, like its paralyzed down one side. I moved it to another tank this time alone, and i treated it with salt and melafix. Any ideas where to go from here? The melafix i treated to the directions on the bottle but did it for scaleless because he doesnt appear to have any atm. The salt i did about a teaspoon per 15L. goneself Posted May 15, 2012 Report Share Posted May 15, 2012 It's probably not his spine, he'll have taken a hit to his lateral line- theres a very, very small chance it can recover.
