dowdit Posted May 20, 2012 Report Share Posted May 20, 2012 My daughter comes in while I'm in bed with all fish keepers dreaded news, "Dad, half your fish are dead!!" Can't believe it, my air pump for my display tank packed in last night and there they were, 19 of my favourite fish, dead. Why is it that the least valuable ones in the tank survived, grrrr. Casualty list: ALL my Black Acei colony (2m, 7f) ALL my Coballt Blue trio (one with mouthful) Half my E/Y colony of 10 inc both my only males Large clown loach My reserve male Demasoni Fortunately it was only my display tank. Sometimes you need a little cry and just let it all out - maybe not in front of the misses n kids...lol Some of the worst things that have happened to me resulted in some of the best lessons... Whether it be an air tube connected to an internal or spray bar on canisters. Good to see some offers of fish. Just on another note. Watch your ammonia etc now too.
