what size hole for 25mm bulkhead

Recommended Posts

Mate I would go 10mm bigger at least I know when I did my 20mm bulkheads we drilled a 25 mm hole and was not quite big enough and had to stone it out more.

32mm can be a bit of a squeeze for some brands of bulkheads,

so slightly bigger would be better and the bulkhead can take up the slack if need be

Thanks ray. Education for the people!

I figured that is what it must have been. Strange name.

Makes more sense for the bulhead to be the dividers within a tank; like in a submarine (or the Titanic).

Next question- what does one stick in the bulkhead (the 90 degree elbow thingy) and those groovy inlet filter cover strainers.

Where do these come from?

Adam,

the short en the strainers normally go on, (these can be bought at most good irrigation shops (McCrackens) at strathpine have them, and on the other end, yes your elbow to the drainage pipes or connections etc :)
