Loach
lovely setup loach, you need a light like the one on my cube=) I sure do! I hate that LED light lol. Its bright but its got no penetration so its going to be used for emmersed HC. Im thinking of this light. Just like yours but Chinese made.... Loach
CRS, CBS pretty much. Ill start the tank with some RCS to make sure its ready first. I have plenty of them in my main 4ft anyway I was also thinking about some male pure endlers but thats a no no if i get quality CRS and CBS. I changed the tank quite a bit today. Tanks looking abit feral at the moment from all the stirring i did to it. Will get photos up later...

lachie1998
is that stringy fissiden on the wood in the FTS? i have some of that growing amongst my sydney fisseden i collected from around my pond. how do you plan to get rid of all that algae lol
Loach
Hi Lachie, Its not fissidens, its nano moss. Amblystegium serpens Super rare to my knowledge but its growing like a weed in my tank I keep trimming it and chucking it in the breeding tank. It also grows emmersed quite well. The algae, I guess i will order one of these soon. Age of Aquariums - Vertex Simplex Cleaner - Mag

BossAquaria
tank is looking good mate, the algae is not a bad thing if your a shrimp its only a problem to us humans. lol i would not clean the back of the tank as the shrimp will always have a good food source that way. Loach
Thanks Dean for the kind words Your right about ahrimps and the algae, but i still have to get rid of it for my sanity and Mr Amano The back pane is actually very clean, Probably because it gets nearly no light being shadowed by the wood. zane
Hi Loach! How are you experiencing the 2213? It seems like crazy overkill for a 12L tank? I was just about to purchase one for my 90L tank and thought I was giving it overkill. Did you have to slow down the flow? Now you have me thinking maybe its better for me to get the 2215... Flows Extemely weak. Dont know how its rated for 250l tanks because IMO The flows perfect for the 12L:). Go for the 2217, Its flow is powerful but can be cut down using some clever methods. The 2215 may also 'just' do the trick but its flow is rather weak.
