The Messmaker Posted June 26, 2012 Report Share Posted June 26, 2012 Problem:- My Peacock Bass is very dark in colour and is sitting in one spot in the tank. But when i feed him his colour comes back and he hits the food hard. Then 5min later just sits back in the same spot and goes really dark. Is this Normal?? Never done this before. There is a tank beside this tank with smaller fish in it he likes to watch Ph:- 7 Ammonia:-Low to none Nitrate:- Low to None Nitrite:- Low to none Gh:-Dont have Kh:-Dont have Size of tank:-6 x 1/5 x 1/5 Temperature °C:-26 Been running for:-18 months Filtration:-Canister/Sump/Internal Filter/Sponge:- Canister and internal Fish in tank:- Him and a Pleco ( Sail fin) Plants in Tank:- None Feeding:- What food and How often- Pellets and Live - Day on Day off Recent Medication Treatments:- None Last water change:-Sunday and this arvo Water change every Day/Weekly/Monthly- Normally Weekly Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
kikrman Posted June 26, 2012 Report Share Posted June 26, 2012 I reckon small bass do better in a group I had the same combo and the bass wasn't very active compared to the ones I've had in a group.
