The Tech Den
Its hard to be perfect all the time, some make out they are but the truth is - well you know anyway. Some people make mistakes I know I have done it before too, I tried a Boyu one which was cheap - about $10 but it only really lasted a week or so. Do not know if it just happened to be my bad luck or a reflection of the product. There are some others but a lot of the professional ones I have seen are a couple of hundred. If you think that is the avenue you want to go down get in contact with me and will chase up some pricing or options. Just wondering if you could rig a float switch which also might be a cheaper option.
martib
yeah i was just looking at the boyu and im a bit suss on them but fot 10 bucks and it last a while it may help.i was think of just useing a timer on the tap. yeah we arent all perfect like some............... The Tech Den
Something like this would be a good idea.
The Tech Den
The float switch shuts off the water flow so you do not need the alarm side.
Syndicate
LOL if not leaving a hose running in a tank makes you perfect then so be it. you know you can put a valve on your hose or simply turn if of till you come back....

red demon
NEW WIRELESS BATH ALARM BATHROOM SPA TUB SECURITY SYSTEM | eBay Ex used this. From what I recall it was loud enough. He just taped a hanger out of wire (got rid of suction cup) that hung over side of tank at right height. Saved me flooding fish room and shop many times (I get easily distracted too)
