Daharkazangel
My breeder male is starting to look very ****py. Hes nearly six and has bred reaguarly the whole time. How long do the breed/live. He hasnt bred for nearly six months now so I know somethings up. Should I seperate from the female or just let him live his days with her? He shows sign of spawning but looks ...well....old lol I asked the same question about my corys, also six. Never really got a answer. Corys still look robust and young but lol
samo
Had a look a few months back and they reckon they live for around 20 years, well the site I found said that anyways

Baccus
I have read previously that experts reckon BN's will live for 20 years, but I dont know if that age was acheived with the strain of constant breeding. If anything I woul give the guy a break and remove the female for a month or two, feed him up on all his favourite foods and also condition the female and then put them back together. In answer to your question on how long cory's live for it all depends on the species. Some corys like the good ole peppered can eaisly live for 10+ years while some others are reaching their limit at 5-6 years.
