rosequoll
I don't know if it's just cause it's old and dusty but I can't get this bulb out and I'm scared I'm going to shatter it. Any 'trick' I'm missing here? I just want to pull the reflector off and put on a larger one. =(
rosequoll
Augh. But it works! And then I'll have to buy a new bulb! *sad* Random, but since I'm replying here now I'll ask in case someone knows. I want to be able to hang this and have less 'height' required, which is a lot at the moment because of the attached top ballast. What are the chances of being able to get an electrician to space out the ballast part and the light part so that I can hang the light higher and put the ballast on a shelf? cram
try some silicon spray or wd40. there would no problem separating the two (assuming the bulb holder is not in the ballast).
