hey guys, the place i sub contract too for stone work has over 80 staff working there and a few guys have fish tanks... through talking to a couple guys there i have put them on this site and now they can get more of an undersatanding about there tanks and how it all goes..... 1 guy needed a hood built for his 3ft so i will show all his build

your a bloody legend mike. a very nice build. you make it look easy.

nearly makes me want to go buy some VB.

the outer frame that sits on the tank looks really good rather than having hidden tabs on the inside.

cheers the inner frame was set to allow the outer frame to about 2-3mm below water line. i will give to him tomorrow, i think he will be happy :)

Thanks for the tip Mike. I have all the materials in the garage for a new hood (the old one has warped due to the heat of the lights). The hold up has been that bevel edge. Was tossing up between a table saw or a router. Keep it 90 deg is now an option :-)
