Discus Identification

Recommended Posts

The top one is from a cross from a snakeskin and leopard, or thrown back from a snakeskin cross, snake skins will never breed true.

Second is a pigeon blood, referred to as Marlboro.

Third is a leopard.

Fourth is a patterned pigeon blood, called whatever stupid name someone wants to give it at the time but still just a pigeon blood.

I would agree apart from the second fish, it's defiantly a Melon.

What i have noticed lately with the white faced red body they now call them Valentine and any thing with the yellow face and body color yellow through to red are called Mellon's.

Who really knows Ross, these days it's hard to know whats what with the way everyone just makes up names.
