If so, that is an extremely bad practice and one that should not be endorsed by anyone. You could unknowingly be introducing diseases etc that would not normally occur in these environments. As for releasing aquarium fish into local waterways that's a huge no no & besides we've got enough crap in our waterways now, regardless of what sort of fish it is. Pete.
