Betta
All I gotta say about aquarium filters & pumps is "you get what you pay for" : )
DeadFishFloating
Ozplaza.living is not liable for any loss and/or damages during delivery can you get spare parts? is it srsly a 3 month warranty? never even heard of that brand I would at the very least run 2 filters on the tank in case it breaks and you are stuck without a filter. a.andrew
I would get an Eheim... 2215? Fluval 306? I'm sure Age of Aquariums has something that will suit your needs and you'll know it works.. There is another brand which is on ebay which has been used by several people... not sure on brand, but it's blue and white.
Betta
I agree with a.andrew, Eheim or Fluval if you must get a canister, otherwise an Aquaclear hang on filter will be fine. Two filters is a great way to do it, just have to remember to only clean one filter at a time, leave a week or so between cleaning each one, that way you'll alway always have a strong bacterial culture : )
63off
I'm also thinking of buying an external canister filter. Quite honestly filters like this scare the **** out of me. The last thing I want is to wake up in the morning and find that a cheap and nasty filter has pumped all my water out onto the floor because the seals were 2nd rate. Get a known brand with a decent warranty, it's not that much more and the peace of mind is worth triple the extra you'll pay.
a.andrew
Think of it as Insurance... A small premium to pay for peace of mind.

Betta
Again I agree with a.andrew & 63off, I have an Eheim 2028 & 2229, I've had the 2028 for about 10years & the 2229 for about 7 or 8 years & they both worked flawlessly the whole time, more than payed for themselves with the money I have saved : )
