ado_84
As Gav said bunning have bags for $5.95 usuall get a couple 6-8cm and about 10 smaller ones, they do need a good clean i boil them for a couple hrs a day for 2 or three days. There not a lot on Ebay but i did get some good larger shells from Thailand yesterday. (poor commication with the seller but shells were as described and quick delivery) again still need a clean

noddy
Thanks guys. Will have a look at Bunnings. What section they located? Ado Do they need that much boiling? I thought too much would cause them to break down? Cheers Trav
ado_84
there in the gardening section with all the coloured gravels.. small bags about 25*20cm. i'm not sure what would be a minimum but i have boiled all the bags i have got for at least 6hrs over a couple days. have a good look at the bags as they vary alot. noddy
Hey guys, So I got the shells from bunnings and they are all about the 2-5cm total size. How big does the entry need to be for the shellies as I think they are all too small... Cheers Trav Mods: feel free to move this to discussion if need be. ado_84
dependes on the size of the fish, along as they can get in them it should be right, sounds like you got sh8ty bag usually you can find one with a few bigger ones

gingerbeer
Different fish will have different behaviour around shells, so the best option is give them some choices at first. If you can find a good deli you can find snail shells used to serve snails, some come with a tin of snails too. My advice is throw out the tin of snails! They are a good size for multis, similis, occies.
