Now this is doing my head in big time. I get all these bloody mouthfuls and strip them fine but either they don't tumble enough or too much, they go bad, very few stay good.

Just lost 108 dimi eggs.

I'm making a barrack tank so females can hold more long term or at least have eyes etc.

Ok..... What are everyone serects please lol

If there was an award for most eggs lost in a year when I would be wearing that crown for sure lol

i had the same problem. when you strip the females have a look in their mouth first and make sure you can see the eyes of the fry. if you cant chuck the female back in the tank for a few days. once the eggs have eyes they are hac´hed or very close to haching. thats what works for me i loose no fry anymore. depending on temp and type of fish this usually happens around day 5 after spawning.

if you still want to strip the eggs earlier have the eggtumblers in a seperate tank with no other fish in there so you dont have to feed in that tank.

i just put my eggs in and do enough air so the just move,

i also add 1 or 2 cherry shrimp in each tumbler,

but i'm only doing it to bn eggs,

what do you use? is the water the same in the tanks,

yeah I tried that steve and just as much luck doing that. either so many ain't fertile and going white or just stripping to early. I hear of everyone else stripping in the earlier stage and no issues apart from the one or two. I use the cheaper egg tumblers on this site but now trying the strainers and just a similar problem. There been moved most times to my tumbler strainer and strainer tanks but no luck still

once I get eyes mate I'm all good but stripping them earlier and I just kill them all usually. They always swallow some with the big mouthfuls and see everyone else still getting 95% secuess rate. I wait day 5 for sure. I just come to terms these I'm a egg killer lol yeah that's not that funny lol
