Betta Posted November 18, 2012 Report Share Posted November 18, 2012 I wouldn't go anything less than a 6x2x2, my lei was only 45cm & I had him in a 5x2x2. I always go about 3 times the length of the fish for the length of the tank & the same length as the fish for the width, that's just my personal formula for a minimum sized tank, I would love to know what other people do to work it out That's a very cool price too Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mayo Posted November 18, 2012 Report Share Posted November 18, 2012 the fish should never be more then 2/3rds the width... if u have a fish that grows to 2ft+ minimum 3ft wide tank and triple in length at least, this is the rule i follow. and ima assume its sold think i know who bought it lol?
