Asdfyuiop
I'm looking for a breeder of gold rams. I want to avoid pet shop stock as I have heard that there are a lot of health issues with rams that have been bred in Asia. If someone is willing to vouch for a pet shop with good rams that would be great as well.
Asdfyuiop
Also I'm willing to travel to most areas in Brisbane and the Gold Coast for the right buy.
purplehelmet
Mate ...I feel your pain when it comes to Gold Rams purchased from LFS. I have been dudded a couple of times now with fish havin' some dodgy resilient fin fungus / fuzz ****e that didn't respond to treatment and ultimately resulted in death. However, I currently have a German Blue Ram which I purchased from RPC a few months ago which is super healthy, and full of personality. The young shop assistant who served me also went out of her way to catch the particular fish I was after. From my experience...if ANY of the stock look sus, give 'em all a wide berth. Good luck ... ssdiscus
Yes, its hard to get healthy stock. I have some nice young Gold rams growing up at present - still 6-8 weeks away. Cheers, Shaun
