cralic1
Hi Guys, I want to do a fish move around, I currently have a breeding colony of Hongi's which are in our display tank, it is a pain to catch them as I have to strip out the whole tank, on a plus note though I get to rescape it constantly, lol, I want to put them into a different tank with a colony of young Elec Yellow's. Will there be conflict between the 2 colony's and will it affect the breeding of them? Cheers C
DFishkeeper
I wouldn't put them together, firstly they are both Labidochromis and may well crossbreed. Secondly, the hongi are more aggressive, particularly the males, and will probably dominate the yellows. Cheers, Doug

Supercobwe
I wouldn't put them to together because quiet a big chance they would cross breed.
