Seen some other weird photos of what looks like a cross between a barred grunter and spangled perch that make the obvious a little harder to be sure of. It is a hybrid, A. percoides X another species of Terapontid. Cultured by an aquaculturist, why I have no idea. Illegally stocked into an impoundment they breed true to this form.
