stevebris
Most lfs tanks are painted, and I wouldn't paint while full! Imo You can buy tank backings which have an image on one side and blue on the other. I have the blue side on my 6x2x2 discus display. Just a poiter though, put either vaseline or a storebought product on the back of the tank to stick the backing on! It stops the backing from pulling "away" and doing the light/dark shite! Ultra_Pikey
Pretty sure most of 'em are painted. As for painting it with the tank full, you could probably get away with it as long as you cut any air pump or the like (so no fumes are pumped into your tank) & I would recommend making extra sure the top is completely covered. But like always, if you want to be 100% sure, just do it the right way & remove everything. Pikey. Steve: Nice tip with the vaseline!
stevebris
No probs pikey! There are products on the market that hold for longer than Vaseline but cost heaps more!
