Anibantoid suitable for a small pond

Recommended Posts

We just bought a Balianese Lava rock sculpture that lives in one of our Palm and Bromeliad beds, its shaped like a conch and I have filled it with rainwater and a covering of Duckweed. It holds about 20 litres, I would like to put an Anabantid in it for decoration and mossie control. I was thing of putting a paradise fish in there. Are their any Bettas/other Anabantids that could go in there .

Thanks,

Phil

wild betta buddy - Splendens complex: Species include imbellis, smaragdina, splendens, stiktos, and sp. Mahachai. They love soft water accept the Mahachai which requires an alkaline harder water. Have been bred in Brisbane outside in a tube situation successfully.quiet hardy fish.post-7385-14711629461825_thumb.jpg
