Betta
Just thought I'd post a some progress pics of my new LumiQ Nano tank. It looks bare at the moment but I'm going to put in some Crystal Red Shrimp & probably some HC in the foreground & either some Flame Moss, Peacock Moss or Suwassertang, still deciding. Anyway, hope you enjoy the progress

Betta
Yeah it's an awesome size, perfect for my desk at work, won't get withdrawals from my fish now during the day, lol It cast me $150 plus the forum discount from AOA. I'm using the Fluval shrimp substrate, minerals & conditioner, I'm going to be using Ocean Nutrition Shrimp Waffers, which IMO is the best shrimp food, I've tried all the shrimp food & nothing compares. I got all of that stuff for about $180, I'm very satisfied with the outlay & I'm looking forward to getting some plants & shrimp in it

Betta
Awesome dude, get one! Get one! If you want something bigger then the Fluval Edge is probably the way to go, comes in 23L & 46L, check out the thread done by a.andrew, he's done a 23L Edge http://www.qldaf.com/forums/aquarium-projects-diy-journals-11/fluval-edge-2-crs-project-picture-heavy-78555/
matt-sheeran
was an interesting thread. but hasn't updated in a month? they are a nice looking tank that fluval edge, but i was thinking of just getting a small mayb 1.5 or 2 ft tank and just going from there. might be cheaper? I've never done a planted tank or even a shrimp tank so i've gotta learn from scratch, plus i still need to convince the other half to let me start one haha. i'm very bad when i get an idea in my head, just want to rush through and get it done. Betta
Ok, in that case you need to read Sarah1234's thread about her planted tank, takes a while to get going but it will teach you about patience. I'm the same as you, I want everything done yesterday, lol http://www.qldaf.com/forums/plants-co2-35/finally-collected-all-rocks-my-scape-62350/ I suggest you start with Red Cherry shrimp & some easy plants, nothing that requires high light & Co2
