Can someone please help first by coping and pasting my list and add to it whether they are Carnivores, Omnivores or Herbivores.

Also whether they should have high or low protein food, or can have high protein as an occasional food.

What would you call high and low protein levels? eg between __% - __%

At the moment for my fish i have

AquaFX Marine Pellets 35% Protein (was recommended to me for my some of my Cichlids)

Hikari Cichlid Gold Mini Pellet % Protein

Ocean Nutrition Community Formula Flakes 47.5% Protein

New Life Spectrum Grow .5mm pellets 50% Protein

Hikari First Bites Powder % Protein

Hikari Algae Wafers 36% Protein

Frozen

Lastly who would you personally feed what to?

Not asking for much hey.....;-)

Thanks heaps

Nicole :-)

they are not the best for their digetive system if my memory serves me right.

ok if this was me this is what id feed them

a good mix of everything in your dry foods (obviously not the algae wafers or fry foods unless there is fry present) with the rift lake africans getting more of the plant/vegie side of things

Feed The convicts, angels and jewels a good mix of all of your dry foods with the odd treat of bloodworms, cyclops or brine shrimp

the livebearers should probably be right eating most of the smaller stuff.

and the plecs just give them algae wafers or peas, lettuce, cucumber with the odd meatier treat for them ie bloodworms, cichlid pellets, they'll eat almost anything left over really.

After using new era foods for a while I highly recommend it.

My foods of choice are definitely sera, hikari and new era. Ocean nutrition and hikari frozen foods. Also tech dens catfish foods are good as well.

But new era foods has won me over. The amount of public aquariums and vets now using and recommending vets it you can't go wrong back.

You already put them in lists tho!

Your predators

Venustus Fry

Red Empress

White Knights

Convicts + Fry

RF Jewels

Angelfish Marble and Silver + Fry

Guppies

And your veggie eaters

Mollies

Common BN

Sailfin Pleco

All those fish are somewhat omnivores anyway, so you can feed from your variety and they will love it.

I am boring, if I had these guys in tanks its likely most days I'd just throw in some NLS 1mm lol
