Ashleigh_ Posted June 23, 2009 Report Share Posted June 23, 2009 Hey Rednut, You need to have a quarantine room before AQIS will issue you with an import licence. There is heaps of information on the AQIS website in their ICON database - it will tell you basically everything that you need to know - from how to set up a quarantine room to what species you can import and from what countries. There is a lot of rigmarole involved with importing fish but I think it is justified considering Australia does not have many of the viruses etc that are present in some overseas fish farms.
