Hi all this morning i dosed my 6fter with fluke and tapeworm medication and this afternoon i realised my big green terror was laying on his side near the top not in a good way, he might be a little bloated but apart from that he was in good health earlier. ammonia, nitrite and ph all check out ok. nitrates where between 80-100 but i was told this is ok.

does any one no what i should do. I am thinking that i am gonna do a 25% water change, add some salt and some melafix any other suggestions?????? I didn't really want to change the water as i had just put 30 bucks of the fluke and tapeworm stuff metioned above but would rather do that then lose a fish

thanks

You shouldn't really let your nitrates get above 25. 40 at the utmost. If I were you I would be doing water changes until the nitrates get down below 25. Cut your losses with the fluke treatment as money isn't as important as your fish.
