ronny
with the current write up about the food being a much cheaper alternative these prices do not reflect that. I am not having a go or anything but some people wont change from tried and tested foods if its gunna cost the same. Spectrum Grow $125 for 2.27kg equates to $55.06679 a kg where as prestige growth bites (substitute?) $64.90 for 1.2kg equates to $54.08333. $1 a kg dont seem that enticing. Braddo
Yeah what you haevnet looked at though Brad has said there is larger sizes available. For example the next size up from the 1.2kg is a 3kg bucket wouldnt hurt to find out the price of that and compare. Also 2.27kg hasnt been $125 for a while now it is more like $140 for 2.27kg by our sponsors site. So if you would like to compare try the 3kg size just call Brad at aquariums Alive. Motorman
OK Guys Advice taken $125 a bucket for NLS is a great price So I have reduced the whole range and added prices in for the 3kg They also come in upto 10kg buckets Also for everyone who has already placed orders your totals will reflect the new pricing Brad
Dno.
wats the shelf life of a 3kg bucket or 10kg bucket of colour? if its gonna last me a year it would be a good investment.

Motorman
Honestly I am not sure of the life span at all Maybe Braddo has talked to the manufacturer and has an idea Though Ray's idea of freezing it works very well I do reccomend this to anyone buying up large amounts Brad
Braddo
I freeze all my foods when i buy bulk as this stops the breakdown of any nutrients being a pellet they usually have a minimum shelf life of 12 months but more likely up to 2 years. Flake has a more limited shelf life. Even if you cant freeze the bucket a fridge will suffice. The foods dont last any more than a couple of months at my place even the 3kg buckets. But I will find out off the manufacturer for you.
Braddo
ok The bucket shelf life is between 18months and 2 years. the Reason being they come in a white bucket which doesnt aloow the sunlight in to breakdown the food. In saying this always keep it in a cool dry place or even better a freezer.
auguston
hi all, i think if u buy the 6 or 10 kg you will be quite surprised on the price. lets give them a go as my feedback has all been positive from the people i have spoken to. growth bites $119 for 3 kg = $39.67 would be cheaper in 6 or 10 kg. the 3 kg bucket take the 35% discount = $25.79 per kg. spectrum at least double that. i know what i will buy. my 2 cents

rival81
Been enjoying the vegie sinking discs purchased from redlands pet centre. Good to see an aussie product on the shelves and the fish seem to enjoy it too so i assume it's pretty good quality.
Braddo
Thanks mate yeah it is the best quality of the australian made products and is comparative to many overseas brands. The feed back has been fantastic. I will be explaining some of the food and there ingredients on here soon. Also the ingredients used are of high quality no cheap out sourced ingredients.
