djb75
I have 2 females and 8 male guppies. They have had babies but I think the males have eaten them all now. How do you know the right time to isolate the female to keep babies alive? Or can I keep them all in the tank with heaps of weed for them to hid in? Chris Tschumy
If the tank has enough weed some babies will survive. I would suggest increasing the female to male ratio in the tank though
Woodfish
I have a floating mat where the fry can hide in all my tanks.
BRISSY
I have 2 2x18x18 tanks to breed guppies (one type). Top one is for raising fry, not sparated. Bottom is separated into 3, each has a bit of java moss and a pair or trio of breeders. As soon as I see fry I chuck em it the top tank. All running off one filter so its all the same water. Temp 25. Tank water or tap water.
