Carib
Ok, onto lights now. Finished refurbishing my cabinet and hood. Tank all sealed and water tested 3 days so far no leaks:behindsofa Given the size of the hood on a 6x2x2, is there any additional benefit to use t5 vs t8 lights. I reckon I could easily fit 4-6 3ft long t8 lights under the hood. It's a fish only tank, no plants. Whaddya guys think?

Kyrin
If it's fish only I'd go LED. Cheaper tor run. But if you think you could end up in the planted realm, then to save money there go with as many tubes as you can squeeze in. It depends on what you want in future
Carib
Asked about LEDs before and most people seemed to think they promoted algae growth because of the spectrum of light they emit. Have to say it does seem tempting and would be a very tidy look.
