chriso78 Posted July 1, 2013 Report Share Posted July 1, 2013 having some problems with white convicts..got a trio a couple of weeks ago have tryed water changes and droping temp to get them too breed the male has killed one off the females..should i take the male out for a few days then put him back any help would be great thanks... Mirage Posted July 2, 2013 Report Share Posted July 2, 2013 Best thing you can do with convicts is provide the girl with plenty of cover, set the heater, feed daily and forget about them. Like most fish. The more you fiddle the less chance of breeding. Convicts will breed, but remember they can take 4-6 weeks between breeding at the start. And that's when they are used to each other.
