Donny@ageofaquariums
lol I am currently organising a pair of protons. Sooooooooooooooooooo many clownfish to choose from. Last time I had a cluster of skunks and loved them. Was a nice change from the savage gold lined premnas I had before them...........
liquidg
The latezonatus info is entirely wrong! Adults in the wild are never in any heteractis in our part of the world for very good reasons. Always in standard colonising bubble tips, quadricolor or carpets! Out of thousands of adults in the wild that I have seen, I have never seen and adult in a heteractis, juveniles yes, adults no. Sarg
My clowns when I first got them. Little tank bred perc's (haven't got around to counting the spines on the dorsal though) About 20mins after buying them a new little relocatable.... Can't remember how long after, a week a month, but come to the conclusion that their cute little relocatable wasn't all that happy at the lfs but in my tank could "make itself at home" and give my little clowns all the space they needed.... I'll have to get a current pic.

Matmatmat
I have no idea about marine.. And would likely kill them with my own stupidity, But damn I still want to try.. I think my biggest worry and the one thing (other than the fact that my wife already understands how much marine costs ) is that I have no patience ...How the heck do you guys cycle things for so long and not go stir crazy waiting for things to mature? Sarg
If you want a rare clown keep an eye out for Picaso style ones like in the pic... But be prepared to pay between 350-1000 a pair. A friend of mine has a really nice pair and they were $800 Or if you could smuggle one in and your pockets ran really deep the PNG lightning Maroon morphs. Got a spare $10k?? http://www.lightning-maroon-clownfish.com/ http://www.ebay.com/itm/F1-PNG-Lightning-Maroon-Clownfish-BZLM1-/161051119894?pt=Live_Fish&hash=item257f651116 Edited July 5, 2013 by Sarg

smicko
All these fancy ones are great but how do I breed my standard percs? They are now 2 years old, I'm not getting an anenome, will they breed without one? Cheers mick

midjim
You don't need a anemone to breed them. I have six breeding pairs at the moment, with only one pair that has anemone. I will try and do a thread when i find some spare time. I have three pairs of hybrid breeding and a couple of baby ones that i have kept. nothing is breeding during winter they seem to start up around the end of September..
