DeagonTheo
I've got a few different plants that might interest people just wanting to get started. I think there's Elodia, Cabomba and Ludwigia, I'll do a few of each for $10. I've also got some Java Moss in small amounts, not growing that well at the moment. Ideal for shrimp and guppy people $5 a handful. And some floating stuff you can see in the photo and duckweed.
DeagonTheo
If you bring along a child I'll even throw in a couple of Platies, every child player wins a prize. I've also got some nice Guppies that would suit these plants at a very cheap price..

I've cleared it out a few times and then back it comes, no wonder it's a pest. It'd be great if it didnt grow so fast.
PeterJ
You don't want to keep or sell Cabomba either. Penalties for sale or supply of declared plants are pretty scary in Queensland and ignorance is not a defence - and unfortunately there are a lot being passed around in the hobby. I'd strongly recommend that anyone selling plants figures out what they've got before passing it on. It looks like you may have Ambulia rather than Cabomba anyway - but you'll need to be sure. rhysl
Yea, duckweed is awesome thou, i'd stick to that ive seen dams and creeks that have so much salvinia that it doesn't even look like a patch of water. And it really does grow quick. The other plants are really good starters thou, would be a guppy fry heaven lol.

I think it is ambulia I bought it from a pet shop, I'd just forgotten the name. Yep my Guppies are pretty awesome they go crazy in these plants. I pulled some out today, I think they're Super Guppies.
PeterJ
I think it is ambulia I bought it from a pet shop unfortunately there's even the odd pet shop where the staff will mislead you about the legality of what they're selling... If you've got an LFS with staff who know their stuff it's worth supporting them even if there's someone a dollar cheaper next door .
DeagonTheo
It's got 4 leaves per node, I think that's Ambulia according to what I've read online, I hope that's right.
