Mitch86
They like slate rock, lots and lots of rocks and caves. Dark substrate brings out their colours and your better off just having a pair . The dominant male will kill the sub if their is a female with them. Anubias grown on driftwood and rock is best. Their too rough for a planted tank. I have a breeding pair of JDs and a grow out tank with their fry.

Mitch86
You will have heaps to choose from in brissy and if you get split gene ones from different lines you might get some nice EBJD fry going. That would make it much more interesting and EBJD are worth a bit of coin to. If your not sure on how Electric Blue fry are bread just do a bit of research on the net. It is truly a very interesting read. Edited July 6, 2013 by Mitch86
