Kimall
What are the T8 lights you see advertised are they the same as the old standard fluro tube.? I think the T5 is the skinny ones but not sure of the 8's. I want to upgrade the tube on my geo tank. Cheers KIM
PETFISH
t8 is the standard size tube's used in house's,shed's tank's etc they are thicker ,the t5 is the skinny tube and is a high output tube (T5 HO or T5 VHO) if it's just fish a t8 is fine but if you want to do plant's that need high light or coral's then t5 ho or t5 vho is what you want ,some low light plant's will grow fine under t8's though.
